Affiliate Disclosure

1. What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a normal link to a marketplace product page that carries a tracking tag. If you buy through it, the marketplace can see that the visit came from DealMints and may pay us a small commission on a qualifying purchase. DealMints takes part in the affiliate programmes of marketplaces, which may include the Amazon Associates Programme.

2. It does not cost you more

The price you pay is the price the marketplace charges. It is generally the same whether or not you use our link. The commission comes out of the marketplace’s own earnings, not out of your payment.

3. What it does and does not change

Affiliate income is how DealMints pays for running the site: servers, price checks and development. We want it to stay separate from what we show you:

• Whether a price is shown as a deal, a price drop or a discount comes from the prices and the history we record, not from whether a link earns us money.
• The price, the MRP and the percentage off are shown as the marketplace lists them. We do not add to a price or invent a discount.
• We show a marketplace’s offer even when we have no affiliate link for it; such an offer links to the marketplace without a commission tag.

4. How to recognise our links

The “View Deal” and “View on…” buttons on DealMints lead to the marketplace and open in a new tab. When such a link is an affiliate link, we mark it as sponsored in the page itself (rel="sponsored"), which is how search engines are told about paid links. Deals we post on our community channels (for example Telegram) can carry the same kind of link.

5. Your purchase is with the marketplace

DealMints does not sell products, take payment or ship anything. When you buy, you buy from the marketplace or its seller, under their terms, and questions about an order, a return or a refund go to them. Prices and availability change quickly, so please confirm the final price, the exact product or variant and the delivery terms on the marketplace before you pay. More in our Terms & Conditions.

6. Questions

If something here is unclear, or you think a link or a price is misleading, tell us at deal@dealmints.in or through the contact page. See also how we handle personal data in the Privacy Policy, and how prices are checked on the About page.
